Dr. Thayaparan completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto Scarborough with Honors Bachelors of Science double majoring in Human Biology and Psychology. She then went on to University of Waterloo School of Optometry and Vision science where she graduated with her Honors Doctor of Optometry.
She completed her optometry externships in British Columbia and Manitoba where she gained valuable experience in a variety of ocular diseases. She started her career in La Crete, Alberta, where gained extensive rural experience and then followed to serve the Ottawa Valley region. Dr. Thayaparan is a member of the College of Optometrists of Ontario, and the Ontario Association of Optometrists.
