Dr. Hu completed his undergraduate studies in Bio-medical Science at the University of Guelph before earning his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Waterloo. During his optometric studies, he developed a strong interest in vision therapy. He furthered his competency by traveling to rural Oklahoma for extensive training in the treatment and management of various ocular diseases such as corneal trauma, dry eyes, glaucoma, diabetes, cataracts, and other retinal diseases. Since graduating, Dr. Hu remains dedicated to his passion for vision therapy and managing ocular diseases, in addition to addressing general vision-related needs such as optical prescriptions and soft contact lenses. He is an active member of the Ontario Association of Optometrists and is registered with the College of Optometrists of Ontario. In his leisure time, Dr. Hu enjoys engaging in outdoor activities including snowboarding, hiking, fishing, rock climbing, and golfing.
