Because we provide both medical and routine eye care, your eye exams may be covered by OHIP or your private insurance.
Our Clinic in Pickering, Thornhill, and Stouffville OHIP Coverage
Children (0-19 years old) and Seniors (65 years old and older) are covered for a full eye exam once every 12 – 18 months by OHIP.
Adults (20-64 years old) are not covered by OHIP, unless they have a condition that is OHIP covered.
Private Insurance: Please bring your private insurance card to the appointment as we are able to bill some insurance companies directly. If we are not able to, we will provide a receipt for you to submit to your insurance for reimbursement.
